Summer Abroad

Georgetown McDonough offers customized summer programs to allow undergraduate students to further their global experience while completing two business courses — six Georgetown credits — at well-known institutions abroad. Programs are four to five weeks long and the courses are taught by faculty from the McDonough School of Business and partner institutions.
Barcelona, Spain: Georgetown in Barcelona: Marketing and Business and Government Relations
Program Information
Georgetown McDonough is proud to partner with the Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE), one of the world’s top business schools, located in Sant Cugat on the outskirts of Barcelona, Spain. During this four-week program, students complete two courses: Management Accounting for Decision Making and Marketing Across Borders, taught by expert lecturers; students also visit cultural sites and local businesses to complement their coursework.

Oxford, England: Comparative Strategic Management
Program Information
For the past 40 years, Georgetown McDonough has partnered with Oxford University to enable undergraduate students to further their global awareness and international experience with summer study in the United Kingdom. Conducted over four weeks, the Comparative Strategic Management Program compares business functions in Great Britain, Western Europe, and the United States. In addition, students experience Oxford’s High Table tradition and make frequent visits to leading British firms to experience global business and intercultural exchange in Great Britain.
