McDonough Career Center Signature Programs
The McDonough Career Center Undergraduate team is a featured partner of the McDonough Career Center “One McDonough” signature programs offered annually to all McDonough students:
- Career Fair Bootcamp – During this annual event, the Career Center team supports students as they prepare for upcoming fall conferences. Traditionally held one week before the Georgetown career fair in late August or early September, this event includes opportunities to build networking skills, practice narrative development and storytelling, and participate in a live career fair simulation.
- Career Kickoff – This event series helps students build skills and knowledge about recruiting in the business landscape. Past events have included storytelling, recruiter and alumni panels, and the McDonough Career Center’s signature Career Vibe Check drop-in advising event.
- Career Springboard – This event series marks the transition from formal fall recruiting to the spring semester “just-in-time” recruitment cycle. The Career Center engages students on topics such as the recruiting landscape and current job market trends, pivoting focus industries, online presence and networking, and more.
